Abington Journal

I sat down with Elizabeth Baumeister from The Abington Journal to enjoy a cup of coffee, discuss my experience with iPhone photography, and share some of my favorite apps. Elizabeth posed some great questions, and I can't imagine how she even began to whittle it down into an article, but she did and I couldn't be happier with the article. The article can be read here. (The Abington Journal) I will post some additional questions with my answers in future posts.

Mobile Photography Awards Shortlisted

AGR_MobilePhotoAwards_03

I submitted some photos to the Mobile Photography Awards and am happy to have been shortlisted. The image below of a severed bird wing is a contender, but there is some stiff competition. As a finalist I am flattered to be in the company of two iPhone photography artists whose style I recognized immediately and respect immensely, Benamon Tame and Tuneart. (I suggest you search both names on Instagram and follow them.) The Judge of the category I am considered for is Nettie Edwards. You can learn a bit about her here, or fancy her twitters and tweets here.

iMAGES: an iphone photography exhibit

AGR_iMAGES

Thanks to everyone who came out to October's First Friday event in Scranton. I was excited to show work at The Grove Media. October marked the one year anniversary for The Grove Media, Scranton's only Apple certified specialist, so it seemed only appropriate to create an exhibit of photographs captured with an iPhone and then processed with various and often multiple apps on the phone or an iPad.

Unfortunately the exhibit was only up for one evening, but I created a page on my website of the show. You can click the image above to access it or click
iMAGES.
